With the support of Esperanza Community Housing, we created space for a gathering to build an altar and honor Palestinian martyrs amidst the ongoing genocide.

Comunidad y Cultura: Un Encuentro Centroamericano

Event was in collaboration with the Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust at Unidad Park in the Westlake community. We hosted a narrative circle, connected members to CIELO's language and health resources, and ended by sharing Guatemalan chuchito tameles with everyone!

Caminos de Conexión

Our inaugural collaboration with Unión Centroamericana de UCLA and CARECEN. We brought Central American newcomer youth to tour the UCLA campus, hear testimonials from UndocuBruins, and learn that there are spaces and resources for them in higher education.
